Kay's Processing' QC laboratory is a fully equipped lab capable of determining product moisture, color, caustic pH, and bulk density evaluations. We also have a tracking system that keeps samples of products for shelf life studies and recall evaluation.
Our range of lab equipment also includes a tabletop double fryer and rotary coater and includes a range of utensils and baking equipment used to study product profiles such as textural and functional properties. We also have the capabilities to perform a Gluten Free tests.
Our ability to inject CO2 into our form and fill bags also requires our QC person to be on line and check the strength of the seal as well as the correct code dating and seal lap form.
